We’d got to January in pretty decent shape and in with a good shout of staying up if we could just sort the home form.
Many on here were expecting a couple of carefully considered recruitments to strengthen things and push on.
What we got was a shockingly amateur exercise that involved chucking lumps of any available blancmange at the wall in the hope something might stick.
Ten months later and there is no indication MA & KM have learnt anything from the utter shambles that ensued. | |

I think it is more that he had most of last season injured plus he had played twice for Ireland in the international break, fresher legs needed at that point in a game that has swung around. | |
