Could Wolves be the worst side in PL history? 08:18 - Dec 9 with 3107 viewsringwoodblue

As it’s going, it’s looking increasingly likely but having watched some of their matches this season, it doesn’t feel like they are worse than say Saints last season.

They have to strengthen in Jan but they’re not an attractive option for recruitment right now.

Wolves are another Southampton- they keep selling their best players year after year until it catches up, looks like they have created this situation themselves and will end up back in the championship, truly dreadful

I have been saying to friends for ages that the likes of Fulham, Bournemouth, Brentford and Wolves are 2 bad signings away from relegation. You can't keep getting that kind of recruitment right. Think you can put Brighton in the same conversation in a few seasons also.

To be honest, in a perfect world for them, the powers would love all the major conurbations and regions to be represented in the Premier, Southampton, Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield etc, rather than Fulham, Brentford, Bournemouth and the likes. Then you would see the relegation trapdoor suddenly shut. Or something.

Wolves became a selling club, not replacing their best players, who had been sold. They have been in decline for 3 years so this season isn't a big surprise. Rob Edwards looked a bad appointment for both him & the club.
