Strange game 22:24 - Jan 17 with 516 views

Bit of a weird one today I thought, never felt fully in control but could easily have scored 6. If Blackburn had been given their pen could have gone either way it felt.

We were sloppy at times 79% pass accuracy vs 86 v Oxford, also far fewer passes 396 v 526.

Felt like Blackburn were surprisingly open, especially early on which helped us

A scrappy game. But we were just better than them and created a few chances. They didn’t have a shot so did feel quite in control. Their ‘pen’ was offside

Blackburn press really aggressively, which both gave us the space but also lead to a lot of unnecessary turnovers. We were messy as a result at their place too. They’re a funny team - I expect them to be doing better than they are when you see how they play.
