Think it’s one of them where there’s plenty of options in the city centre.

Have PM’ed you.

Yep, loads and loads of places in the town centre.

Daughter is at uni there and conveniently coincides with her returning back after Christmas.

Avoid London Road, but that’s outside of the town centre, in the town centre as long as you don’t act like a div you’ll be fine.

The Howard and The Globe opposite the station historically have always been the away fans pubs.

As someone else has said , fill your boots with most places in town but avoid London Road as it’ll be full of Blades and isn’t the most pleasant of places

Eccesall Road is also an option - lots of cool bars , small real ale places , a couple of sports bars and an Irish bar called ermmm The Irish

If anyone has a ticket …. Gimme a nudge

Closest game to me (2 miles away ) and couldn’t get a ticket

Ecclesall Rd is probably quite neutral as very student based and not far from BL

Yorkshire Grey used to be worth avoiding and a few on London Road weren’t the best either but that was over 20 years ago when times were rather different.

The Howard at the station used to have all kinds of fans in on Northern away days as well.

When was our last league game up there compared to Wednesday? Used to love the Blades away, seen some proper games there.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Watched us get beat 2-0 there in the relegation season. Must be then?

Oh and Sheffield Tap at the station is one of my favourite pubs!

Kelham Island is OK but it's a jaunt up the hill and over University Roundabout to BL

Actually it's about 2.5 - 3 miles depending how deep you are in Kelham Island

We're not a million miles away from each other - I'm off Greystones Road so will probably have a few walking down Eccy Road to Bramall Lane I reckon

Used to live in Kelham Island a few years ago; Kelham Island Tavern, Fat Cat, Gardeners Rest etc are lovely pubs but almost completely in the opposite direction, and not sure I want to spend valuable boozing time schlepping from there to BL.

Eccy road will probably the option i'll go for - as another poster has said, I will be stopping for one at the Sheffield Tap upon arrival/pre-departure at the station. One of the best pubs in the country.
