Seems like it is bad news whichever way you look - Ukraine, Iran, Palestine, USA and loads more that don't dominate the news cycle in the same way.

I think I'm possibly even more depressed by the direction of travel in this country too - seems loads would love the influence of people like Trump and Musk to be more prominent here. The idea of a Reform government genuinely horrifies me.

Anyone got any positive news stories to share to cheer this miserable sod up a bit?

When I was 5 or 6, I saw up-close a couple of daleks on the prom at Brighton.

They weren't that scary out in the open and in the daylight.

best action is to not watch the news. I prefer watching old comedy stuff, sport, and babestation - far better for ones health - and lower arm strength.
