An Ipswich "fan" who's gone to the considerable effort to make a montage of George Hirst missing chances/penalties
An Ipswich "fan" joining in with a Norwich fan's post, criticising our signings.
Not to mention the pages that actively put a negative spin on absolutely everything Ipswich Town whilst claiming to be a long term "fan"
Maybe im old or a "Happy Clapper" but I find this behaviour utterly bizarre and really sad.

Support has been a joke all season long, IMHO. The way the likes of O’Shea and McAteer have been treated this season is nothing short of sensational. All because a few people can’t get over the likes of Woolfie and Broadhead.
I’d say I prefer going to away games, but you just get as many tw@ts at them as well. QPR was a particularly good one where the bloke behind me proceeded to rain a tirade of abuse at O’Shea for not passing the ball to someone - when clearly the pass wasn’t on - and went on and on about Woolfie. |  |

I mean I agree that we have some absolute divs on Twitter from my limited viewing on there these days but so does every team. I am sure there are clued up decent Town fans on social media as well, so I probably wouldn’t label entire platforms of Town fans “scum”.
He gets a little excited with the likes offJD about it all, cheered on by a few regulars who don’t like any opinions that would shine anything like suspect recruitment in a poor light. The irony is they are basically the opposite to the idiots that only appear when we lose.
We’re are slightly behind where we should be this season but we still have a great chance, so fingers crossed. Just don’t really get the energy about other fans talking up so much airtime. People will talk about under performing players or poor performances, that’s what fans do. We will also talk about good results, we’re on a pretty good run at the moment, big couple of months ahead.
The ones that take it too far ignore and block them instead of painting entire segments of people with the same brush, it’s just as tiresome as the trolls. | |

You dont like me. Thats fine. You dont like my posts thats also fine. But I will share actual thoughts about the club. Players. Games. Formations. Lineups. Etc. They may be wrong to you. Some really stupid. Some really crap posts too but they are at least attempts as discussing the football on the forum.
Take a look at thread history. Its endless posts poking at everyone else. With 0 contribution to any subject of your own thoughts.

I’ve been called a lot of things in my time mate but pompous is a new one, so thank you for humoring me. In terms of pointing out where people are going wrong, if you’re going to be on the offensive so much on others you should probably expect occasional push back.
For the record if someone done that with Hirst then it’s stupid, just like getting on his back in the stadium is. I’ve seen you take a few potshots at people that have opinions though. Theres a few posters that seem to do that more than engage in discussion about the team. Most on here are big Town fans, even the ones that have been critical about some aspects of the season.
We’re all hoping for same thing come May. In terms of blocking or ignoring the trolls it’s just advice not telling you what to do.
