Does anyone have any new information about the season ticket waiting list? Didn't the club say they would tell people where they were on the list at some point? I'm sure very few tickets will be available, if any, but it would be nice to know if I'm in the top 10... or several thousand places away.
In general, I get the feeling the waiting list isn't much of a priority and -- perhaps this is too cynical -- just a way to ensure supporters keep buying the memberships! |  | | |  |

Yes, has gone quiet on this again.
It was originally a benefit of buying a membership for the 24/25 season but never materialised.
I was informed, you would hear more before the season started (This season).
Then the list happened November and concluded early December, but nothing has been communicated, as far as I am aware, other than Mark Ashton stating there are 6000 on it.
As you say would be nice to know where you are in the queue, not expecting any being released unless the capacity increases, but would be good to know. |  | | |

As per email on 15th Oct, once applications for the list closed in this cycle (Dec 1st) any release of season tickets would be allocated on a ballot basis at a date in the future and not on an ad-hoc basis.

At the time they announced the opportunity to sign up, they said that after signup closed and random positions were allocated (end-December?), that you would be able to log into you account and see where you were on the list.
They didn't say 'how long' after the list closed this would happen, although it seemed to imply it would be immediately / soon after it closed. | | | |

It actually states you will be randomly put in a queue.
My understanding is that you will have a queue number allocated to you randomly.

As there appears to be a smallish drop off in the attendances this year maybe the club should cash in on another 1000 or so season tickets to drive the demand up for the remaining seats....I guess theres a mathematical calculation to show selling vacant seats at current prices is more beneficial financially but it is great when we can brag about the demand for season tickets! |  | | |

How will my queue position be determined?
Following the closure of the entry process, entrants will be assigned to a randomised queue position via a ballot. Your queue position will update as those ahead of you purchase a season ticket.
How will I know my position on the waiting list?
Your waiting list position will be made visible to you and be updated as and when your position changes.

I think its a barometer of demand, potentially an indication of how much we might increase season tickets prices.
I thought 6000 was quite low given there was no commitment. If they had charged £10-£20 (refundable on purchase) I wonder what the number would have been with the tyre-kickers not bothering. |  |

Personally I feel like it’s still a couple of seasons before any will go on sale. Larger clubs now favour the extra revenue match tickets generate so it’s likely they’ll want the number to drop by at least1k+ before selling any new ones.
They’ll also want a lower number to cope with any reduced capacity from future stand redevelopments. Once the capacity is increased further opportunities will arise. | | | |

Agree. It's a bit like the London marathon ballot. Everyone enters it because there is no jeopardy. But in doing so it prejudices the point of the ballot. |  |
