Am sure there are areas where people choose to speak their native tongue, but that's a long way from assuming they cant speak English.

A street that has everyone from a community will also have lots of kids who are fluent in English not to mention the vast majority of the mums and dads too.

How else would they get by as a cabbie, bus driver, nurse, doctor etc?

Can't speak English or speak their own language with friends and family? I presume the children can speak English if they go to school.

Reminds me of James O'Brien questioning Farage after he said that he felt uncomfortable, sitting on a train, and nobody spoke English. JOB asked him how he knew they couldn't speak English and whether his wife speaks German with family.

Funny you write that Benters because the highest concentrations of white faces are found in the northern states. The southern states are by some margin the more ethnically and racially diverse. Texas, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, leaving aside more obvious answers like Hawaii and New Mexico, these contain some of the lowest percentages of white population in the country.
