Win tomorrow and we're three points behind Boro with better goal difference and a game in hand.

Just keep going about our business.

We are creeping towards similar results to those above us. Our away form which has appeared so bad this season.. could even be be better than theres within a few games.

And them still to play. Definitely in our own hands. Very reminiscent of two years ago when many wrote us off because Leicester, Leeds and Southampton kept winning so it would be impossible for us to keep up.

Going back to 23. During that 2nd period did we have many sheff utd/wrexham days.

Think thats why it currently feels so nervy as it feels like youre still not quite sure what town is coming out.

Cardiff and Preston away: both games we were expected to win, but we lost.

Win our games in hand and there's fǔck all 'others' can do about it.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Unlike the two promotion seasons, Town haven't had a concentrated winter slump. Four wins from 16 games between 29th October and 15th February in 2022-23, one win from nine between 16th December and 10th February in 2023-24.

This time the poor results have been sprinkled more evenly throughout the season.

In reality, we are just three points and five goals behind where we were after 33 matches in 2022-23. Nine points behind 2023-24 (however four goals better off), but the top two are 6 or 7 points shy of their counterparts that year, too*.

* Edit: Having played one game more, as well.
