| The unpredictability of the Championship 10:49 - Mar 3 with 489 views | Dubtractor | The last few weeks have illustrated why this league is more fun to follow than the Premier league. Who would have predicted that Boro would drop points at home to Leicester and Oxford, but win comfortably at the blunts and brum? That Coventry would go on a run as bad as they did, but follow it with 4 wins on the spin. That we could lose against Oxford, Charlton, Leicester but easily double Coventry. That Millwall and Hull would defy the odds week after week. There will be lots more surprise results to come as the season plays out. Hold tight! | |

A year in the PL makes you realise how poor and predictable some of the Championship football is. Much more interesting in terms of results though. I think the frequency of games helps too. Some of the gaps between games in the PL were ridiculous.

Absolutely. Not pretending for one minute that the football is better quality, but (Sheffield Wednesday aside) anyone can get a result against anyone.

Exactly this. Thats why the 'must win game' crowd and the 'no chance of catching them' moaners always make me laugh. Town have probably been the most boringly consistent side in the league! The 100 point Championship season of the last couple of years this is not!!

re: wednesday, don't think you can rule them out of getting results. hull have won 7 of the last 8 away games against the likes of boro, soton & millwall. the one they failed to win? sheffield wednesday! bonkers league...

| The unpredictability of the Championship on 11:43 - Mar 3 with 307 views | FrimleyBlue | I guess it depends on who you follow When you look at the prem, you've got Brentford, Everton Fulham on the cusp of europe. Villa top 4 Sunderland in that position where they could find themselves in europe too if they can have a great business end of the season Towards the bottom, you've got spurs, forest, west ham and leeds fighting for survival. Championship looks more exciting as we're in it and fighting for promotion, but also there are other sides fighting for play offs which when you look at the prem, it's basically a similar fight but for which european competition they'll go into. If you look at the form tables of say chelsea downwards, the prem is a mad mix of results. If we were in sunderlands position for example, the prem would seem like a fun league to be in | |
