But Dara O’Shea has been absolutely top.

Yeah, both brilliant. Furlong is very smart, plays the ref brilliantly

I’ve been holding off posting that since half time. He bailed Furlong out a few times, was in the way of everything and reliable on the ball to relieve pressure. Utterly immense tonight. MOTM for me.

Yea we contained them really well. Walton may as well have brought a deck chair.

I can see why Matusiwa got it for the goal & performance but Dara was robbed.

3 clean sheets and 3 wins in a row, the perfect reaction to Wrexham.

And another yellow free game for Azor.

Two weeks ago he was the worst captain and worst defender in Ipswich history.

At least that was whet the tw@ts were saying. Proper captain. Proper defender.

O'Shea seems to dominate attackers more than he ought to be able to. He's quick, sure, but he's not actually that big for a CB. He's just got really good positioning, timing and pace and seems to always make a good early decision on when to attack the ball. He looks so comfortable 9 games out of 10 - which is more than good enough!

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

I’ve never said it. I think he’s superb, a genuine premier league quality defender.

The only one I’ve dug out is Egeli and I stand by it, he’s not ready and not effective for us.

But tonight isn’t a night for negativity.

For his v high stds I thought Azor had a bit of an off game. Losing the ball more than usual.

The young lad is finding things difficult at the moment ( Watford goal not withstanding ). I think we can all come up with reasons why and they've all been mentioned before. Let's just give him time, he left his comfort zone to come here at a young age, many wouldn't have the guts to do that. It's not his doing that we payed a Championship record fee for him. Time will tell and a bit of patience.

He absolutely was immense. A rock for others to rely on and work off and the amount of touches and headers he had breaking attacks up and then setting others to move forward was incredible.
