I’ll get some down votes for this but…

A few of our fans will secretly be fuming, slagging off the changes and then KMc goes and proves he knows what he’s doing.

Big result, will go down in the ‘got the job done’ category as apart from Clarke missing a sitter we were worse after scoring, but 3 points off second with a game in hand and still boro to play… it’s feckin on innit.

Onto Saturday, I’m buzzing to get myself to Portman Road!

Clarke has played better but he still had a decent game.

Agree about Egeli. I would rather we just took him out for the run in and give him more time.

You dont get any better do you.

The consistency of your cobblers has to be admired though.

Cobblers a bit OTT, the man called all 3 subs at half time. You may not like him as a poster but kid knows ball. (Apart from laying into Clarke tonight but he seems to have divided the forum tonight).

I find him really frustrating. He’s obviously a very good, technical individual player and works hard for the team off the ball. And he scores goals. As mad as it sounds, there’s a ‘but’ for me. There are many occasions where we would do better without him. He missed a sitter tonight because he’s too casual and one footed. And afterwards he could have put us through when we were 4/5 on 2/3, but delayed and we went offside. With Mehmeti or Nunez in those situations we win 2 or 3-0. Luckily we got away with it.

As I say, it sounds nuts to criticise him given his contribution but sometimes I feel he holds us back and stops us being even better by not moving the ball more quickly.

Just my view. And I don’t think he’s crap and should be dropped. I just find him frustrating, as he’s got the potential to be better.

I called all four attacking subs before the game started...

It's what McKenna does. I don't know how some still don't understand the plan.

Truly impaired.

A broken clock is correct occasionally and the subs werent exactly hard to predict, Sam Parkin called it too.

You obviously agree with the Clarke no comment then ?

In fairness to Egeli I actually think he contributed more than Burns tonight. I'm not putting Burns down with that I just felt neither of them had any space to run into or to produce much. Egeli won a few free kicks and corners.

He looks really short on confidence and just like a youngster not feeling able to take risks as not established.

Just read this, what a ridiculous comment. Im calling you out on your daft comment about Clarke, not saying you have to rate all the players.

Utterly daft

I’ve seen Jack Clarke’s chance on the Sky clip (not seen the full game yet). He did not miss a sitter; he hit the target. The keeper threw himself across the goal and made a brilliant save. Sometimes you have to give the opposition player credit.

Clarke is a terrific player. Works hard too. He has to be watched and catered for by the opposition or he will tear you apart. He’s a better player than when he first joined and I don’t think he is casual. He just looks it not least because he always appears to have more time than other players.

The only thing that worries me about him is for a lad that’s not exactly the smallest, he doesn’t appear the strongest and winds up on the floor a tad too easily.

He has had a lot of game time (McKenna’s words) and we could do with JP back, but we do now have an option with Mehmeti on that side.

What are you whittering about ?

Putting no comment made it quite clear what you thought,

Its not my wrath, plenty more to worry about in the world than you typing rubbish (again)

PS - This might shock you, but I think there are quite a few in this thread who happen to agree with me -

Think it might shock you there are plenty of other people in other threads that didnt rate him tonight. Clearly too you havent got much else to worry about as you didnt care to share your thoughts about the game or discuss the positive performances of those ive mentioned but of course you had to have your say on the 1 thing you didnt like which were the words no comment.
