Why does amount of running declare how good a performance was?
He had 1 successful dribble out of 7 ( based on the same stat site you used
6/13 ground duals won
4 passes into the final third
For all that running
1 tackle
2 recoveries
I completely agree he ran around a lot. Hull also had a good shape about them.
But I dont honestly see what was impressive about tonight other than a good amount of running.
And in no way should you not hit this into the bottom or even top corner
And then hits the post. The first shot i think he hits it with the side of his left heel
So the first one was a sitter. Even the 2nd one was more of a sitter as the keeper was on the floor

Having said that, do you even analyse the stats you pick out? 66 touches was amongst the highest for the forward looking players (the touches for the backs isn’t relevant, since it is inflated by knocking it back and forth between themselves when trying to draw the press).
Matusiwa was also 66 touches. Nunez 64 (but per 90 slightly better, as he played 16 mins less).
Did everything Jack tried come off tonight? No, it wasn’t his most productive. Was his the poorest performance (the OP’s title). Absolutely not!!!
I’ll also take an independent site’s assessment of him over unconsciously biased fans. Second highest rating, just behind Azor. | | | |

Not sure what your point is? He played 90 minutes. Was clearly in a lot of different places and received the ball alot which is normal for our left sided players.. sorry if im misunderstanding something but I dont get what that highlights. Isn't it normal?
I dont know how they do the ratings. The 7.8 doesnt make sense with such lower numbers in regards to other stats shown.. they do have him down as two missed chances plus hitting the woodwork. Not sure if that boosts it up. |  |

Clarke has been one of our better players this season, penalty taker, creator, and highest goal scorer. One slightly below par match is forgiven. He runs around a lot and goes on mazy runs and tries to take on players but sometimes with no end product. | | | |

Just heard the guy on Blue Monday say Clarke couldn’t do anything more with that chance!
WHAT? Literally has to score, went with the wrong foot and put it the only place the keeper could save it. If Hull nicked a point I’d have been fuming with that miss in the context of the game where chances are very sparse. However, they didn’t, job done, solid and needed win.
Clarke is a top ball carrier causes defenses to worry and obviously has a goal in him, has grabbed us a few crucial points from the spot as well. I do think I prefer him as a sub at home though, with Philogene out I’d like to see Davis and Mehmeti again down the left.
Clarke’s had a very good season but did have a few moments of frustration tonight. Assume the downvotes are for the singling him out, when he wasn’t terrible just frustrating at times. Sometimes he just needs to let it fly or give the ball a second earlier, he had a decent sight at goal at Wrexham at 3-2 that springs to mind. [Post edited 4 Mar 3:00]
