| so Phil says Halo and Ed Sheeran complained on 11:25 - Apr 2 with 193 views | darkhorse28 | Mark isn’t the money in the room, he’s an employee. He’s acted like an owner might. But tbf, he’s been empowered and allowed to do exactly that by the owners. The media. The support. We all massaged his ego, took our hands off the wheel, and said ‘I’m Sure it’ll be fine’ when he’s always looked every inch ego fuelled, and everything as proxy for his need to control. He needed agency, accountability and oversight. No stakeholder could be bothered. Now we have the consequences. Those pointing out his failings were generally hounded by a ‘mob’ only interested in acting like a mob, and destroying any alternative views…, the paradox they don’t like Nigel who makes his career out of the exact same reductive behaviours. Still lost on them. We created the monster. Now we need to deal with it.., the actual money in the room I’m sure will stand up, commercially as well as morally they don’t really have a choice now. They need to know this doesn’t go away. Our club is worth fighting for, its future and what it stands for. Mark Ashton did this. Not Nigel Farage. He has no responsibility for our club, we don’t pay him to protect us commercially and develop us, we do Mark!! | | | |
