We are a new group formed to support our Chairman, Mark Ashton, and our Prime Minister-in-waiting Nigel Farage (and Reform UK). Despite the screaming from the far-left members of groups such as Blue Action, TWTD, and this Ipswich “Collective,” the move has proven to be overwhelmingly popular with regular Town fans like us, ordinary working-class people fed up with the political establishment and desperately wanting a change of Government.
We commend Mark Ashton's initiative to meet our future Prime Minister and lobby him in the best interests of our great club (and national game). He shouldn’t have had to apologise for doing the right thing, and the national and international media condemnation painting Farage as a racist and far right is yet more proof of how low the political establishment will sink to try and discredit our Prime Minister and Reform UK.
We are aware that the members of the far left are planning a protest to disrupt the game on Monday, arranged in part over at TWTD, and we’ll be making an announcement on this in due course.

if you don't know what he was banned for and not been the recipient of his late night pms, then it's a bit harsh to say phil was wrong and me and ryorry are lying about it.
people can be ok most of the time and beyond the pale at others, when they show that side on a public forum, then it's right that they go
it's a bit harsh to say phil was wrong and me and ryorry are lying about it.
What the hell are you talking about? Where have I said any of that? You said it was telling the only people defending him were an an anti-Semite (not sure who this is) and (I assume from the other description) Benters.

tambu is the poster of anti-semitic conspiracy theories, ask gb. benters seems to be the other main defender of his behaviour

I have criticised anti-Semitism on here repeatedly.
I don't know why Lucan got banned. If I have ever been told then I have forgotten, feel free to tell me again.
Not going to reiterate them here, but think it likely that 99% of the general population, not just TWTD readers, would have been horrified at his comments - not just the general gist, but the specific details..

you’re calling me weirdo..that’s rich mr alt…what I found amusing was Bodger never missing an opportunity to rehash his sad story…to be clear..I think it’s deffo not acceptable to share pics etc…
Complaining about political posts on here while running with that avatar.

Yep, this. It was a rare occasion when I saw it and kept the receipts. It was vile. If there’s any possible excuse, he may have been off his tits. Buy that’s being very generous.

the fact that people standing up for lucan's behaviour are
1) a "new" poster whose chief contribution to the board was to post an antisemitic conspiracy theory, and who thinks nigel farage is morally far superior to thatcher and blair
and
2) a poster who adores farage and lowe, and thinks asylum seekers should be machine gunned at the border
tells you all you need to know!
2.I don’t particularly adore Farage or Lowe I will vote Reform though.
I would like to take this opportunity to say to all I do apologise for saying that.
In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Although I don’t agree with this so called FB “club” , I do find a lot of posters on this forum very Left wing and always pushing their agenda towards others , if you call them out they seem to turn unpleasant towards anyone else’s views .
You know who you are ……just saying
Ps Ashton in IMHO.
Despite being left of centre generally in my politics I tend to agree with you backwaywhen, cue the down votes and sarcastic replies this will no doubt generate!
From talking generally to fans at work, pub etc, I haven’t met one person who has banged the table and insisted he must go and we should all take to the streets and protest. Some won’t accept this as true, but the silent majority just want to move on!
Makes me laugh how some on here are banging on about reform and their ‘hate’ politics (which I agree they have btw)… but the hate agenda trying to get a man sacked is ironic! I accept he made mistakes in this affair but for me he has enough credit in the bank after doing a fantastic job over 4 years. Never has he said he supports Reform which is the narrative many are pushing.

Bit odd you've missed the fact that he has to go because he lied, doubled down and didn't actually apologise.
The fact decent people oppose fascists and are upset like the players is just added context.

I worked with Reform recently, and if you think the working classes are going to be saved by them, you'd best be prepared to be dispointed. They want your votes, but they don't want anything to do with you. They want the farmers and the landowners, not the ordinary people who are pinning their hopes on them somehow changing their lives. Look at those people in detail and tell me how their behaviour away from the cameras suits your narrative. It doesn't - they only care about their rich mates and more importantly their foreign donors

If Brexit has taught us anything, it's that Farage followers care little for their own interests.
