If those on the know had handled it properly to start with - even with their response - then it could have all blown over already. They simply underestimated or dismissed how decisive the whole matter would be. And that doesn't mean the original response should have included sacking Ashton. The deceit and dismissive statements after the event made things worse. The club's role is to unite supporters; not create division. | |

That was written on 29th March. They are probably now concentrating on getting to the premier League, as I know that is the goal for most of them and they would probably not be happy with the fans if they spoil their chances by trying to distract them. They know they have to put things like that to one side and concentrate on the game, and that is what the Supporters should be doing also, otherwise it is very detrimental to them.
Things like that can be discussed at the end of the season if need be, but not now. | | | |
