I think Boro are currently worse than both of those. |
But even if the FA Cup semi-final is moved to a Sunday and our game to Wednesday we will still be playing some pretty strung out Southampton players. If they lose against Man City it will probably be heavily and if they win the emotion of reaching a final will make a stab at the play-offs seem less important, plus they will have their eyes on another Wembley appearance. Well that's why the game is winnable in theory... |  |

I think current situation means it isn't even a must not lose. Clearly we would be better off winning or at worst drawing it. But if we win our other matches we can lose that one and still finish ahead of them. Of course things can change between now and then too. |  |

I feel like we need to find that extra gear now and go unbeaten to the end of the season with 17 points. All season long I’ve felt like at some point we are going to hand someone a pasting and then the shackles will really come off.

We have really been giving all of the help we could ask for.
Boro have been going at 1PPG for a few months, 3 in their last 15 available! Millwall with the goal difference are at arms length with these games in hand after this loss today. We need to go and get the job done now from here, if we get a 7 or 9 points from our next 3 we will almost be there. | |

No one will get max points but we have to take advantage of this door being so wide open now.
Millwall deserve a tone of credit for their performances at PR and the Riverside but with their two home losses either side of it, that’s actually 4 points from 4!
It was so crucial for us to get over the line today!
