Feels like everything rests on this derby 10:16 - Apr 8 with 2953 viewsjasondozzell

Monday was good but we do look vulnerable when we're trying to manage games. Brilliant moment for MacAteer though and how good was Hirst's assist? Ben Johnson also doing brilliantly for us. All about the players and KM - they are the football club and not the charlatan Chairman. And thank god for that.

Saturday is going to be really tough. They are flying. But if we can somehow do it I think the momentum will carry us over the line.

Ashton out.

Think they are rather bullish which is understandable given their form, they are at home.

I watched them against Oxford and they moved the ball about well and quick against and awful Oxford side that day admittedly but they looked a good side to me.

Opta's prediction percentages are about level for all three outcomes.

I couldn't feel more of the opposite tbh. We have two free hits thanks to the win against Birmingham and I think that takes the pressure off for the derby completely.

That said, I still think we'll win :) Nunez to score a free-kick before half time, with a nerve wracking second half to follow but we grab a couple towards the end

They're usually bullish on the outside. On the inside may well be a different matter.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

I don't at all I thought more so a fortnight ago.
5 wins out of 7 will take is up however they come.
If we are level on points with anyone and have a superior goal difference going into the last day v QPR you couldn't really ask for anything more.
There will be twists and turns till May.

Southampton showed their pedigree against Rectum. Now it's our turn to shine. 3-0 up by half time and then do a professional job of seeing the game out. BTW,Hirst put his heart and sole into the Brum game and could barely walk when he came off on 75. McAteer finally became a man and Taylor was snapping into tackles. That's the kind of spirit we need on Saturday and for the rest of the season from everyone. COYB

Draw.

I can easily see a 2-2 unfortunately. I’d take that as well, as long as we then don’t go on and feck up against WBA or Charlton (which we are more than capable of doing).

But wouldn’t it be lovely to do the double over them and really get that last 15 years monkey well and truly off our back.

Id still sacrifice saturday to go into pompy and boro fully fit and ready to win.

We can afford to lose to nodge. As long as win the others

We have a mix of unfit players. Keep those out who arent ready.. put those in who need minutes.

For me. Start philogene. Give him 90 minutes.

It's one that most of us have probably priced into the two allowed defeats, in fairness. But against that I'd say that I don't really want to go to Pompey three points behind Boro and feeling we need to win there, anything can happen at Fratton Park if their team is desperate and crowd bang up for it.

The way I'd see it is – defeat will narrow the path but won't be terminal; draw and we're probably ticking along as we need to; win and you'd have to say our prospects look very good indeed.
