Hopefully Kasey is full of confidence and can have another impactful game. Nunez because we are a better team with him playing. Check Joes post from yesterday. Jaden doesn't look nearly ready to start and even when he was fit wasn't getting the nod in away games. Clarke has that position for sure. Taylor over Neil. I haven't been overly impressed with Neil tbh and I want Taylors tenacity here, especially away from home. [Post edited 8 Apr 11:24]

If Burns isn't fit McAteer to start again. That could happen anyway to be fair, with Burns off the bench.
| Saturday team on 11:36 - Apr 8 with 1006 views | Vaughan8 | I don't think Nunez is very effective (or good) as the central 2. He was having a good game the other day, but faded once he moved back. If Matusiwa isn't fit then I'd put Neil and Taylor in midfield. | | | |

Philogene scored against them at Portman Road.

I think on Philogene that I’d be half tempted to just give him a half from the start as I think Clarke is a better sub than he is (seems to pick up the flow of the game and make more of an impact than Philogene). I think there are either tough decisions or slight worries in quite a lot of our potential starting XI which is quite unusual for us - Kipre v Greaves, Johnson v Leif, central midfield in general, Nunez v Mehmeti, Burns v McAteer, Clarke v Philogene and Azon v Hirst (if both fit) seem like they could go in either direction (with various levels of certainty I guess). FWIW I’d go (but expect to be a couple wrong): Walton Furlong O’Shea Kipre Leif Neil/Matuiswa Taylor McAteer Nunez Philogene Hirst

Fair point, can I adjust my comment to 'away' derby player? To be brutally honest I've never loved Philogene, so I'll always find an excuse to play someone else ahead of him!

That is an interesting point. I completely agree on Clarke being a better sub. His style of play also suits tired legs more. My issue is with Jadens match fitness atm but you could play Mehmeti on the left also.

The fact that Philogene scored an absolute screamer in the last derby is a ton of evidence to the contrary. Yes, he's been much better at PR this season than away, but that is completely derby agnostic.
