| Soton Tickets on 14:54 - Apr 8 by N2_Blue | Does seem strange though because Charlton and Southampton tickets have both been available to 10 point bracket and virtually no other away games have. The Southampton game could potentially be a promotion clincher or at least a Barnsley / Coventry scenario from the two previous promotion campaigns and those games despite being midweek too sold out very quickly. Is it so many away games in short succession? |
Third consecutive mid-week away match so quite possibly. Plus Charlton relatively close and Portsmouth mainly sold when it wasn't a mid-week game. [Post edited 8 Apr 15:01]

5 away games in 17 days is probably a big factor. Possibly the fuel prices as well. And almost certainly that they're all on TV.

Barnsley was a bit of a slower burn from memory - a lot of people decided to go post-Peterborough.

Now that's sorted, less to worry about if fans skip a couple. Midweek too, last time I went it was like 3am back to Portman Rd on coaches, proper pain. Plus cost of a load of games close together.

| Soton Tickets on 23:30 - Apr 8 with 774 views | vinceg | So according to my bookie site, the Southampton Cup semi is at 4:30 on Sunday 26th. So presumably this means we won't be playing them on the Tuesday evening? | | | |

One of the semi finals will be on the Sunday, they haven’t communicated which one yet. Both games are at Wembley, so one has to move. The poster above, may have some inside knowledge?

I doubt that - they wouldn’t be able to show it on TV at that time

I’m applying some logic (which may be dangerous given who makes the decisions), but neither Leeds nor Chelsea would have games impacted by moving it to Sunday. That is the game that will move to Sunday IMO Sure, the time will move for the Saturday semi, but I don’t see the Saints game being the one to move days. [Post edited 9 Apr 13:07]

They'll be gold dust when we're going there needing a win for promotion.
