Best thing about going up? 20:07 - Apr 8 with 2177 viewsMrPotatoHead

I have some thoughts on the negatives - fewer matches, more expensive tickets, some humbling results.

What are the good bits as a supporter?

I really don't get the love affair with the Championship. Almost every team coming to Portman Road and whacking 10 men behind the ball with significant amounts of time wasting and ridiculous fixture schedule because some teams don't have a working pitch.

Get me back to the Prem please.

It's so much better than the prem. No VAR, different styles, competitive, better atmospheres, real grounds that haven't been made like the NFL yet.

The quality is fairly shite though and the point about most teams coming to PR and sticking ten men behind the ball and playing anti-football is a good one. A lot of the games this season haven't been an easy watch.

VAR I will give you for sure.

The different styles in question are teams with 0 interest in playing football and doing every they can to keep the ball out of play. I'm also not sure the atmospheres are any better. Purely from an ITFC perspective our fans have been pretty quiet this season and lots of championship grounds look good and are full of character but hardly noisy.

Then again watching us win only one league home game last season wasn’t an easy watch either.

True, although first half of the season there were some good performances in there and games we were a bit unfortunate not to win. We could easily have beaten Fulham, Villa, United, Leicester, and Bournemouth if one or two fine margins had gone our way. Post Christmas was pretty abject for the most part though.

Bridge we'll have to cross if we get promoted.

I'm so not trying to think of starting the next season in the PL. I bloody hate the PL

But we have to aim to get promoted as what would be the point.

If there's a new drive to get a European Super League started again... please do it and take away the big 6 or 8 clubs ( and Spurs whatever division they are in) so we can start again with a new First Divison comprising what's left of the PL and the best of the Championship. 32 teams, 62 games a season, no international breaks, and no VAR.
