Looks certain to be off in the summer. His house is up for sale with no onward chain.

Anyone with a spare £845,000 want to live in Westerfield?

You'd have thought a very-well-off footballer could do a little better with their choice of agents than William H Brown...

Just been reduced - so must have known he is on his way for a while.

Also, can’t help noticing that he obviously isn’t much of a gardener!

Fantastic few years with us, but we need better now we are heading up again. He goes with my thanks and best wishes. Hope Portsmouth take him, they seem a good fit once again.

I remember seeing footage of the players and manager walking out to (possibly?) the first training session under McKenna, and Chappers was right there with Kieran, deep in conversation.

Who knows what they were talking about, but I'd bet huge money that Chappers was one of the prime movers in generating and enabling that phenomenal team/squad/club spirit that took us from midtable League One to the Premier League.

He's been a superb force here, both on and off the pitch, a proper all-round pocket dynamo of a player and a man.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Thanks and best wishes is outrageously low key for Chaplin's departure.

Those two always seemed to have a special connection,, maybe 9helped by KM being relatively young.

No better way to celebrate a promotion that putting a rubbish bin over your leading scorers head.
