If we do get promoted. Do you think the town parade will happen on bank holiday monday.
Im travelling down that day as my dads funeral has been arranged for the tuesday. And I just thought of the bank hol as potentially the day the parade might happen if we did it.

Final day was the same weekend as this year - first one of May.
The parade was on the Bank Holiday Monday at the end of May, wasn't it?

We were promoted on the Saturday and the parade was on the BH Monday.
I think I had a few hours off the drink Sunday

Talking of celebrations and again, don’t want to jinx anything, but do we think the after party will be to the same sort of scale as before?
I don’t think so, 2024 was a one off - years and years of waiting.
This is still going to be good and I’ll enjoy it but it won’t compare to 2024 IMO.

Yep, 2024 will never be topped.
But to think until three years ago, I’d only seen two promotions in my lifetime.
We could now potentially see three in four years…. Definitely party time! | |
