Doesn’t matter, we fckued it up Tuesday night big time. I’m still not sure what they thought they were doing. I don’t think Mckenna knows what he was doing either. That game is going to haunt us for years I think. And could be the game McKenna is remembered for.

Lol.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

If we fall short, he’s not going to be that wrong unfortunately. It was an awful night all round.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

Thanks, but i'm sure we are all capable of checking the scores if we want to. Why do people feel the need to do this on here every time one of our rivals scores?

The points are not vital? Lol

In terms of the table, it's not a must win for us. Points wise, it's still in our hands whatever happens tomorrow. Three wins and a draw should still be enough.

But the mental blow it will cast is immeasurable.

Not the two wins against Norwich or Cov then? Or any of the other 103 games he's won?
He'll be remembered only for the result that ended our 9 (nine) match unbeaten run?
There's defeatist mate and then there's this.
Buckle up. It's gonna be a bumpy ride over the next couple of weeks.

The in our hands logic is what people were using when we were 5 points behind Boro with 2 games in hand.

I sometimes wonder if anyone has watched us away this season with some of these comments. You really think we can afford to drop any points at home with what’s to come in the 9 days after Sunday? We are likely going to need to average 2PPG or close to it to seal promotion.

And bigger picture, 1 point out of 6 isn’t going to fly with Southampton’s form and Millwalls run in.

I'm as angry as anyone - if not more - about Tuesday but I sense McKenna will be remembered for a double promotion over a midweek game at Portsmouth.

Qpr are playing like they are already on the beach, so poor today

Let's hope QPR roll over just as easily at PR on the last day then!

They lost at home to Norwich and drew with WBA in the last fortnight.

Just putting that out there,

Have you seen Westbrom and Norwich from leading up to them playing them - both very much in top form so those games meant nothing compared to the forms of the teams they have in the remaining few games - we need to not lose to borough and Southampton and win atleast 2 of the other 3

Because it's a point of discussion about something that is incredibly relevant to Ipswich Town.
It's not been going on all season but now we're in a battle in the last knockings it's normal that people are obsessing about our promotion rivals.

It's a mid game score update, there is no point even raised for discussion.

It's pointless obsessing over every goal that goes in elsewhere. Ultimately the only thing that matters is how we perform over the remaining games. If we perform ala Norwich, we will probably find ourselves in the top 2, many more performances like Tuesday night and we won't. Its pretty simple.
