| Are we still favourites? on 22:45 - Apr 19 by FrimleyBlue | The recruitment thing is interesting. I remember saying a few months ago if we go up it will be inspite of our summer and jan window purchases. I get why people would say thats daft as if we go up then the recruitment did a good job. But I think it can be a mix of both imo. If we go up we will still have the fact that taylor had played a big part in it which is imo a terrible position to be in. Thats not a slight on him because hes a solid player but imo hes a perfect cover cm. But the fact hes performed better than purchased cms other than azor is a shambles really. Then youve got nunez and mehmeti fighting over a position neither of them suit Akpom sitting on the bench awaiting his obligated transfer to us for us to sell him on Plus the fact our strikers have missed the most chances of the league together and somehow we felt those two were our best options with all the funds we had available. And then theres egeli who unfortunately makes us look like we have 10 men through no fault of his own. When you think of the shambles or the recruitment side of things. Its incredible we are actually still in the top 2 picture. |
Taylor has been very good this season,Dan Neil has been solid since he came in on loan but afraid Cajuste has been a let down ,clearly not fit when he arrived, had Morsey not left in the summer think its safe to say if would have helped the midfield department

| Are we still favourites? on 06:39 - Apr 20 with 492 views | jas0999 | Yes. Three wins will be enough. We play two teams near the bottom … Charlton look nearly safe. Hopefully WBA will be by time we play them. QPR will be on the beach …. Southampton will also have played an FA Cup semi final … so chance of a hangover especially if we do win our two games before playing them. For me, it’s about KM ensuring his team plays for both halves of football. Not just one .. which is something we’ve seen all too often recently. | | | |
| Are we still favourites? on 07:36 - Apr 20 with 467 views | ringwoodblue | Unfortunately no. This is how I see it playing out: 2. Millwall. W W W 85 3. Saints. W W W. 84 4. Town. W D L W. 83 5. Boro. W W D. 82 Basically the Pompey game will be the difference between the autos and the playoffs although you could also say the failure to beat Boro at home or the crazy game at Stoke. The list is long. | |

Nah. Millwall haven’t won 3 in a row since October. I reckon it will all stem on our match with Saints so Either 2. Town WLDW - 83 3. Milwall - DWW - 83 4. Saints - WDW - 82 5 Boro - WWD - 82 Or 2. Saints - WWW - 84 3. Milwall - DWW - 83 4. Town - WLLW - 82 5. Boro - WWD - 82

With Stoke on the beach and Leicester and Oxford relegated by the time they play them, I think Millwall are more than capable of winning all three.

Us and Saints cancelling each other out with us dropping points elsewhere and Millwall winning all three has to be a very strong possibility. Not one I'd want. If we don't finish second, a potential final with Saints is not on my wish list.

Millwall won 4 in a row in February going into March. They did 4 in a row in October and another 3 in a row in November.

| Are we still favourites? on 20:49 - Apr 19 by Parky | Yes, 4/9 on favourites on SkyBet. Southampton 3/1 Millwall 9/2 Boro 22/1 |
Around 4/5 for a top 2 finish on Betfair Exchange which is a massive difference to Skybet Pretty much a coin toss whether we do it if you go with those odds

Southampton fans said a few weeks ago, if they were out of the automatic promotion picture by the FA Cup game then they would play a strong team, if they were still in with a shout they would play fringe players. So, given where we are now, even if they chase City shadows, it won't be against the same players we will face the following Tuesday.

Yes, even after quite a rocky opening period. I really did think the market had it wrong. Given how many points it usually takes to win the division, and given how many we're on now, it's clear that we've underperformed quite materially compared with what the market expected. Make of that what you will.

This is how I see it and probably best case scenario if we don't get second, just hope Wrexham don't jam their way in.
