There are no winners. There isn’t a ‘good’ team, or side it’s just v factional and it’s in everyone.
That’s why you pick a side and try to make it good, when it’s vile and evil. Hamas and Hizbollah AND the IDF would slaughter every man woman and child for their group if and tribe to win.
Life is cheap. Tribe and group id are everything, and Islam is very specific on what needs to be done. There is no kindness and no mercy.
Maybe you struggle that these behaviours are in you, a need to control, a hatred of people who disagree, wanting to close dissent by any means.

I'm on the side of international law and human rights.
Of course, it is to be expected of countries like Russia and terrorist organisations that they have no respect for either but I would expect better of Israel (and the US) because they are liberal democracies which are supposed to believe in the rule of law and the international rules-base order.
