It would be unpopular with fans of lots of teams, given how they have capitulated. But which Leicester players could be fully redeemed in good sides next year, away from
the Leicester circus.
Any we would see as realistic targets / or would want here?

They will have to sell a lot of assets in order to reduce wages. Could be some bargains in there as they still have a talented squad.
Only ones for me-
Vestergaard- Heaps of prem experience, would be great depth in CB (which we lack currently), out of contract next year
Fatawu- clearly very talented but likely to be their most in demand asset
Jordan James would top the list but he's on loan from Rennes. |  |

Jordan Ayew is getting on a bit but if he is available on sensible wages and would accept a one or two year contract I think he would make a tremendous impact substitute in the Premier League, there might even be a late flowering á la Welbeck in him. |  |

I'd read earlier in the season, 7 of the top 10 earners in the Championship are at Leicester.
Matt Targett (at Boro) is the highest paid player on £100k a week due to his wage from his parent club. |  | | |

In terms of quality, Fatawu would be a top signing, but there has to be question marks over his attitude these past few months |  |

Indeed, definitely James, I’d have reservations- a lot of their squad will have 3 relegations in 4 years, so question marks about the impact they could have in the PL. I think tbh Leicester will have to settle their contracts as part of any deal, because I can’t see anyone offering the kind of wages they are on even in the PL. | | | |

Most recent accounts show a wage bill of over £150M - more than double ours for the same season. I'm sure, like ours, it will be lower than that this season with relegation clauses, but it's still likely to be £100+M. Imagine taking much of that into L1! | | | |

Especially as a lot of those players will have done back to back relegations, in all likelihood.
I'd rather we went for players that would improve us in a way that would give us a better chance of staying up, and I'm not sure many of theirs would. |  |

Stolarczyk is a decent keeper but is he any better than what we have already? Begovic is 38 now and out injured.
Vestergaard used to be a very good centre who is now 33 and currently out injured.

Mavididi, Fatawu and Daka all good players on their day. Are they consistent enough? I don't know.
Ayew is 34 now.
Whether any of their youngsters are good enough or have the potential who knows? But, as we have seen with McAteer, unless they are already the finished article many of our fans won't have any patience with them. |  |
