| Andoni Iraola on 15:45 - May 7 with 1554 views | Cheltenham_Blue | Palace is where I suspected he would go. Massive rebuilding job to be done there after they moved on most of their high value players. Wissa to move from Newcastle to Palace this summer, definite info. | |

Really odd, Bournemouth likely in Europe. Or Perhaps he's seen what European football does to clubs with resources and fixture pile ups and doesn't fancy it.

I wonder, with such a small ground SCR (or whatever it's called) will really hit Bournemouth because of their relatively low revenue.

New ground in the works I think

Bournemouth have done remarkably well over the last ten years or so but maybe he thinks that London based teams are able to attract better players?

I thought Bournemouth were building a new stadium but looking into it seems it's just an expansion of existing stadium to 20K capacity. When I read about SCR I did notice anything where I thought revenue from ticket sales would really change things to impact clubs like Bournemouth and Brentford with lower ground capacities. If thats true maybe that why we are keen to expand. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Would he really want to risk leaving us at this stage for a job which is smaller than Palace? I would hope not.

Possibly, I'm sure he has his reasons for it. Could be financial too, I think Glasner was on a much bigger wedge than Iraola is. He might want to be in London himself. Personally I wouldn't trade the side 6th in the league and opportunity to live near the Dorset coast and New Forest for Crystal Palace, seems a bit sideways, but each to their own.

Good chance Palace get a Europa League spot if they win the Conference. Job half done in the semi. You would think they'd be favourite going into the final.

What, you wouldn't trade Sandbanks for Thornton Heath? Madness...

I say this as someone who used to live in Norbury... Absolutely not.
| Andoni Iraola on 17:01 - May 7 with 1080 views | vapour_trail | What a coup for Palace if that happens. Imagine they’ll be losing more players thus summer but he coped remarkably well with that at Bournemouth. | |

| Andoni Iraola on 17:04 - May 7 with 1063 views | LeightonBuzzardBlue | great pull from Palace that and if they get over the line in the Conference League I imagine lots of players will see them as a very attractive club to go to next season. Fair play | | | |
| Andoni Iraola on 17:09 - May 7 with 1033 views | BlueandTruesince82 | What an odd move, feels rather sideways. Given what he has done at Bournemouth one would think he could get a more high profile job. Palace are theoretically a bigger club but hardly a big step up | |

If I was him I think I’d fancy Chelsea from a football perspective, he’s got a cracking record at developing young players All the other sht, less so
