Electric saving energy bulbs. when will the woke END!
| F1 on 10:40 - May 25 with 835 views | Basuco | Low revs and 50% electric, they used t rev up to 19,000 rpm, now limited to 15,000 rpm, they have been quieter than a road legal Porsche since 2014, the old V10's still sound amazing when you get to see them live. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

They still produce > 1000 HP though although I think many would agree the rules have gone in the wrong direction this time. It was a decent race yesterday though. SB

only in so far as we wanted to see if both Mercs would crash into each other, instead of letting the obviously quicker driver through. and so what if they produce 1000hp, it sounds impressive but its the quality of the racing that it produces that counts, the cars are so aero bound theyre like racing on rails, they dont lose traction or grip and the electronics are so in control now, the driver can dump full throttle and the ecu sorts it by harvesting and clipping the energy so the battery doesnt go flat, this was the first race this season drivers didnt have to lift in corners to save energy. whilst world endurance cars are limited to 670bhp, have all the fancy hybrid stuff too, produces far more interesting racing and dont have this craziness. the little Dacia that survived the Nurburgring 24hrs, beat Max to the finish (his car only produced 550bhp), produced 280bhp.

Montreal is a great track and nearly always gives us a great race, I am not a fan of the micro machine, lift and coast (super clipping) cars this season, hopefully we will see further tweaks in the rules for next season to improve the racing.

Get a clip up that you struggled with, and have a cycle through the Picture Modes on the TV and see if one suits better.

My TV is about 18 years old. I don't intend to change it until it breaks or won't take streaming.
