A big shout out to Mathew Jury, who seemed to lead most of the business end, and probably deserved it.
Gutted to lose in the cup final for the double (it says I won, but pretty sure I haven’t), so congrats to Half the world (a). Great name.
League and cup doubles don’t come around often. A bit gutted .., I expect to win most leagues, and one day I’ll take the big crown (maybe not). That’s always the goal.
It’s just great to be top 10k again, last season was relatively poor, nice to get back to the ‘levels’ and the TWTD league helped that in the closing months. I enjoyed this one more than most, I see football slightly differently to most people, and that seems to resonate on FPL, and I’ve been hooked since the Telegraph days.
Like Pep I’m due a break (where the similarity ends) so might take a year off .., until August, then I’m hooked again, that’s the beautiful game, and we go again. Getting angry though at Truffert for not getting 1 more DC and two bonus points, isn’t an ideal way to spend free time. And I’ll never forgive arteta the substitution that cost me the cup double, selfish LEGO head. So we’ll see.
