If we gave him a four year deal on 50k a week that would be the equivalent of £194k per week for the next 4 years. Obviously there is the chance of getting a big profit selling him on or recouping some of that money with some sort of fee BUT is that the best use of our funds?
Would it be better spent on free agents and loans?

Millwall might ‘value’ him at £30m, but they know full well they’d get nowhere near that.
I suspect any deal for him would be around £12-£15m upfront with add ons taking it to £18-£20m. |  |

Theres a fair share of free agents available. We could use a good chunk of our funds on them along wirh some good proper £8-£10 mill signings from leagues around the world. |  |

I dont think he's worth £20 m. £15 tops.
I dont get the downers on Egeli, he's still so young, has plenty to learn , doesn't he get time to adapt. Comming from scandi leagues to the championship is a huge change in style and physicality, he's had to learn a whole different way of playing. |  |
