Yes wonderful times,where I lived we were surrounded by farm land,fields and woods.
We’d be out on our pushbikes and that later went to step through Honda 50s we’d buy off the old girls when there husbands had finished with them,we’d strip them right down (the Hondas not the old girls) and use them on a track round the fields.. we’d also ride them on MOD land and get chased by the Military Police.
But as we knew all the short cuts through the woods we never got caught.

The summer of 76 was great, as was 75. Sunshine all the way.
76 summer hols was all outdoors. Walking cycling, messing about and 5 or 6 weeks away from home doing something I’d always wanted to do that needed good weather. | | | |
