Angel Gomes an option? 19:08 - Jun 6 with 2632 viewsLen_Brennan

Spent the season on loan at Wolves from Marseille, so go back there now.
Plays in the #10, but could drop back into a 3 man midfield with his quality on the ball. Has the pedigree that we look for in new signings, from his youth football at Manchester United, where he almost certainly would have worked under Kieran McKenna. Despite being 25 now, would likely benefit from playing under McKenna's coaching again.

Thought he looked good for England on the few occasions he played for them. Might have lost his way a little bit, it happens. Still young enough to find it again. That could be a good call.

I really liked him too when he played for England, but he didn't do much at Wolves, I just wonder as he's small his game would be more suited to the continent

A good footballer, neat and tidy but doesn't effect games nearly enough for me and it's absolutely tiny. I just don't think he suits the modern premier league and would be far better suited to playing in Spain, France or Italy for me.

Gifted but I wouldn't take him for us personally.

Yep. That's my thinking.

I was born underwater, I dried out in the sun. I started humping volcanoes baby, when I was too young.

I'm loathed to say anyone is too small, when they're clearly so talented and we've just got rid of Chappers but I do think our squad will look at braun this summer.

If we are looking at midfielders from France, then I'd go look at Tyler Morton and Tanner Tessmann from Lyon.

Is he a 10? I thought he'd played his best football in France in the sort of N'golo Kante role, which got him the England call up.

Reading online morton is one of 6 players considered not for sale, could be difficult

I liked the look of the burnley right winger, tchoura

Tchoura actually rates quite low in that Burnley squad.

Potentially the only player I would be happy to take from them is Dubravka, but if the Pope rumours are true, there isn't a lot to choose between the two of them.

I'm no expert on Burnley, i may have just watched him on the rare occasions when he looked good, quick, direct, good ball carrier, decent cross on him

With the links i've seen in pope and the young Everton lad, i do wonder if we are potentially looking at players with that bit of prem experience

I think they're donald ducked financially so everyone has a price. Especially good tactic to say "not for sale" to get a few more Euros innit

Very few clubs can genuinely afford to say no offer at all is acceptable for a player. And those that try to often find themselves with a problem player on their hands.

Yes, he's somewhat on the smaller side, not a qualifier on the bare facts that we need a few more players with physique, power and pace for sure. Would need someone with those attributes alongside him.

He’s 5ft 6ins. Where is Jay Tabb when you need him? Maybe he could ‘do a job’. Cheap too.

Last I saw of Jay Tabb, he was leading a horse round the paddock at Newmarket racecourse. He was and I believe still is a stable lad at the Philips Hobbs yard.
