| Listen Here Ladies 16:44 - Jun 9 with 2026 views | Cheltenham_Blue | McKenna is going to go on to manage at the very highest level. Fulham is certainly not that. His family are settled in Suffolk, and from what I understand, love it here. He'll go, likely at the end of the season, when he either keeps us up or not. But it sure as heck won't be to Fulham. Fulham give us managers, not the other way around. | |

| Listen Here Ladies on 16:52 - Jun 9 with 1713 views | Ftnfwest | Not sure at this point it makes much difference to his career to make such a move. Reasonable success with either (us - 17th, Fulham - continue mid table security zzz) would mean the potential of something bigger. Failure here, I still think he’d have a job although it might come to a natural end at that point and if so would still get an equivalent top championship job. Failure at Fulham and he’d be on the sacked manager merry go round with no prospect of anything higher than top championship. So why bother, particularly if you’re settled on the personal front? | | | |

It will just be an additional decision as to whether to have them based in Suffolk, or take them with him. (Lets face it, wherever they move to, they live in a world of millionaire mansions and private schools, they wont be moving to anywhere sh1te). Every ambitious manager has that issue to deal with. It's just an opinion. That's what this board is for isn't it?

Alternatively, a lot of idiots have put a lot of money on him leaving and the bookies are laughing all the way to the bank. There’s a reason why bookies always win and that’s because most people that bet lose money.

If they were laughing all the way to the bank, why have the closed the book?
| Listen Here Ladies on 17:47 - Jun 9 with 1184 views | GlasgowBlue | He wants to manage at the highest level. We are stepping stone in ambition. As is Fulham. He won't fancy another relegation battle when he could take Fulham into the top 8. We've been very lucky to have him for the past 4 1/2 years. And he will leave the club in a far better position than he found it. | |

That is a slight concern. I'm clinging on to the possibility that the bookies simply don't know, but are spooked by a sudden rash of bets, from people who are causing a vicious circle by just lumping on because the odds are shortening quickly. The bookies are no more likely to know for sure than Phil (for example) is. The book closing must just be down to a sudden run of bets. The question is whether that run is because of genuine insider info, or just over excitement based on internet froth and tumbling odds. I'll be sad if we lose him to blinking Fulham, but hey ho. At least we'd be losing him at a point when we're attractive to many other managers worldwide.

| Listen Here Ladies on 18:33 - Jun 9 with 824 views | darkhorse28 | He’s told his agents he wants to leave, and he’s used them to create pressure to get him out on the cheap too - which is what he did with Brighton too .., I know it’s the modern way, but there’s a real lack of integrity. Or did you think Talksport don’t speak to McKennas people and they didn’t create this story.., he’d have said if he was staying .., just like last time when he lifted his skirt to every side that allowed him to do what suited him. V talented coach .., but the bidding dog routine does you no favours.., not sure he is going to the top.., maybe do well where he can just coach, might not. The highest level he’s had success at is against Millwal, Oxford, Preston etc It’s just not a very high level.., 3 in 4 is superb, but it’s impossible at that level to suggest he’s elite - based on 22 points with England and Swedish internationals in the camp, I’d say there’s still a good chance this level will always be too much for him. And he is leaving. Then you can bid along to the new king. | | | |

| Listen Here Ladies on 19:24 - Jun 9 with 661 views | ITFC_Essex | To be fair they sacked Robson, we haven't been as stupid as to sack McKenna. Fulham, this century, have been more of a force than Town have. They have had four promotions from the Championship, played 19 seasons in the Premier League (compared with our 7), won the UEFA Conference when it was under the Intertoto branding in 2002, and were Europa League finalists in 2010. The Khans are worth more money than Gamechanger too. Some of our fanbase still think we are the Ipswich on the 70's and that Fulham are small beans. They are not. If they want him, then chances are they will get him. [Post edited 9 Jun 19:27]

That's true, I was one more years ago than I almost care to remember, and I never had a bike, or a car! You could say I've been amused by the " bookie discussion " re KM, going on in here. Some have raised good points, others haven't a clue!
