Ole’s at the wheel 21:35 - Jun 10 with 1265 viewswrightsrightglove

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense. Similar style of play, a very good coach who improves players, will be well known to plenty of our staff, well respected within the footballing world, played and coached at the highest level. I think he’s my pick of the bunch at the moment

It’s his Cardiff stint that concerns me. I think history will be very kind to him on his Utd spell correctly, but if he can also take a team like ours and get it to perform….not convinced.

Ole didn’t coach at United, he left it to Carrick and McKenna to do.

I’m not sold on him as our manager.

Worth interviewing may raise the clubs profile and revitalise the squad...

Go check out Sir Bobby Robson's Fulham stint...

Solskjaer would be the most 'comfortable' appointment- I wouldn't be upset if he got the job, but I do think there are potentially better options.

Good point.

I do like the guy and the way he carries himself, and players clearly play for him. It’s not an appointment I’d be against per se, just not 100% convinced.

That's fair enough - in truth, none of the names mentioned 100% convince me, but I fear this is because we're trying to replace one of the clubs greatest ever managers.

From all the names this is my choice. Just seems to fit us, calm, considered and has experience whilst being young for a manager in relative terms

That would be my reservation. McKenna was (eep), first and foremast, a fantastic coach. He was also clearly a great man-manager to boot. We need someone who can do both.

TWTD CP. Evans Out.
Poll: Neil Young or Lynyrd Skynyrd - there is no middle ground.
