In from 33/1 to 6/1.

Another who is praised for his 'attention to detail' and 'unique' training sessions.

Getting the Walford job, apparently.

Presumably they’re on their quarterly manager change aswell?

Think the Walford job is more attractive than the Watford gig.

And more chance of it lasting longer than an omnibus episode, unlike Watford.

Think Paul Ince did when he went from MK to Blackburn

George Burley went from the then equivalent of League Two to the Premier League when he became our manager.

It's time for Maurice Steijn to step up!

NO! IT'S RONNIE MORAN TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Poor bloke. Told by some journalist that Ipswich wanted him, he did a "Come and get me!" plea.

Only we didn't want him and he then had a lot of backtracking and rebuilding of bridges to do with the Rotherham fans.

Ronnie Moore! He's a good bloke. He used to come down here doing co-commentary on Rotherham and on one occasion there was a discussion about who might come in at Town, think whoever was in was on their way out, and I asked him whether he was going to throw his hat in the ring again or something similar and he took it in the spirit it was intended and had a laugh and joke about it.

Brian has a very similar personality to McKenna. Very easy going guy and he doesn’t do bs. His playing style is also similar.

His father is actually one of the most well know people in Ireland. One of the greatest GAA hurling players of all time. Just said I’d add that bit of trivia 😃

He looks someone with a big future. Perhaps this job might be too early for him at this stage?

I want to cry.

Just remember, one bookie slashed KM's odds of joining Fulham from 6/4 to 1/2, in one fell swoop. Which is a shortening of 27%, and that's huge in the world of bookmaking, they got it wrong. Bet Victor reportedly cut it happening to 1/6 and closed their book ( I can't verify that ), but if so, got it terribly wrong. Contrary to popular opinion bookies don't always get it right, which is why around 70% of all horse race favourites lose, though of course a lot of the money that makes those markets comes from the betting public. Basically all I'm saying is, don't take it as read, whatever the markets might say. Sure, treat it as a guide and a pointer. They may get it spot on, they may not.

I think so. Hopefully a big future in the game, but he’d be a massive risk for this job.

I think like McKenna - and without doing any research as to what it already looks like - he’d need a good backroom staff with him. As I say, unsure who he has at Cardiff now and whether he bought anyone with him from the City set up, but could see it working if he had the right people around him.

I don’t think Pert and the like stay unless it’s someone like OGS who has worked with him before.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…

Huge ask to go from League 1 immediately to the Premier League, with a new club, with what will be a busy turnover of the squad this summer you’d think.

It’s going to be a huge task for anyone, but for someone who has only had 1 season in League 1 with where we are, not sure it’s the right one.

Way to big a gamble at this time. If he comes here I cant think of another gamble as big in prem league history. Surely Ashton isn't that stupid.

Or does he (or BBM fans) know something I don't?

Kim Helberg is lengthening now, out to 16/1 from 8/1 as are many of the others.
Bookies currently have it between

O'Neil 4/7 (Lengthening)
OGS 4/1
Rosenior 5/1 (Lengthening)
Barry-Murphy 6/1 (Shortening)
Rob Edwards 6/1 (Shortening)

I think we are likely to appoint fairly quickly so the markets will line up pretty soon.

Edit: Barry-Murphy had just gone to 4/1 with William Hill. Now second favourite.
