Is Ole nailed on then? 08:18 - Jun 17 with 4674 viewsHackneyblueboy

Seems to be the consensus on here but media still saying Gary O'Neill in running.

I wonder if there are any other names under consideration. Whatever happens, just keen to get it done soon. So much to be planned and players to be recruited, feels like every day counts to get us ready for first game of season.

Ill be honest and say I cant say for certain how or where hes seen these photos. But I think it might be someone he works with who does have connections at the club. But if course as is often the case this may not be reliable. But photos are phits aren't they...he also said OGS id booked into the Salthouse but under a slightly different name.... I suspect we are waiting for the legal stuff to be completed b4 anything is announced (as you'd expect), whoever the new manager is...

But FWIW, I think OGS seems the logical choice. It keeps continuity, at the Club. The staff mostly all know one another through Man Utd links. He knows how we play. Hes frequently at the club anyway. And of course the link with KMK would mean it likely Ashton was talking with OGS as long ago as 2-3 weeks when McKenna had spoken to MA but nothing was at that point disclosed.

Hopefully not much longer to wait....

So OGS is ‘booked into the Salthouse under a slightly different name’.

What could that be? Gary O’Neill, Brendan Rodgers, Uncle Tom Cobley, Pep Guardiola or Salvatore Unknownio?

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

I caught me a ...... (or two )

..........but there's no need to be so rude to me if you want me to go away .

Indeed you did. But it had to be said. The Holy Grail is far too good to miss the opportunity to replay a great line or too, especially when Brian’s mum played by Terry Jones is called Mandy.
