It’s a good appointment when you zoom out a little.
We won’t be able to play this expansive attacking football in the prem straight away. If we want success, we’re going to have to be resolute for the first couple of years which maybe a bit boring .
The truth is after them 5 years with McKenna, anything would be underwhelming but in reality I don’t think it’s a bad appointment. | | | |

Agree, Ashton should take a huge amount of blame for this when it goes tits up (which it will) too many people burying their head in the sand with this appointment.

Yep - if he continues to be better than McKenna then great. Think critchley in with him is a very smart move too.
