But he’s been in charge at Strasbourg for 6 months and jumping ship because a better opportunity has arisen for him. Not a good trait, and although we want him to succeed his track record suggests if he does and a bigger club comes calling he will not hesitate to do the same again.

If you were in a job for 6 months, and a higher profile employer came in for you, working in the biggest market in the world, and offered you a departmental budget of £180m plus and you were already upset with the ownership in your current job, ( https://www.independent.co.uk/ You’d say ‘No’?

Correct. But I accept the reality not much loyalty in life/football. McKenna had opportunities to go to a ‘bigger’ club 2 years ago and he stayed. So there is still loyalty in football - just hard to find.

McKenna showed loyalty 2 years ago albeit with the help of a hefty pay rise.

I find that would be highly unlikely during year 1, probably time to get out of your head he will be at PR for 5 years. We are about to be thrust into the modern football world of change, get used to it.

Certainly lots of stick gathering going on around here. I've seen it all before over several decades, but I think it's the first time I've seen it before the guy has even been appointed. Talk about a tough crowd! Of which I'm not a member, I might add. I prefer to give people a chance before passing any sort of judgement.
