Certainly been a few goals. It can't just be down to more sh1t teams being in the competition given we had 6 goals for England Croatia, and 5 so far in Netherlands Sweden.
Are teams happier to go for it because of all the third place qualification spots available? |  |

I think there's possibly something in that.
Many of the games are good to watch but there is little in the way of jeopardy for the big nations.
Perhaps it was telling that Tuchel said at half-time it doesn't really matter if they lose as long as they go for it. It reminded me of the 3-2 friendly win against Argentina all those years ago. Great fun to be involved in but ultimately it wasn't going to matter too much either way.
It will be interesting to see if we're all in for a rude awakening during the knock-out rounds. |  | | |

I think it’d made a lot of the groups games better than cagey affairs at previous tournaments, some class goals as well. |  |
