The Swear Filter; is it fit for the modern era? 12:43 - Jun 21 with 394 viewsNthQldITFC

I was pleasantly surprised when listening to Profile on that esteemed and respectable wireless station Radio 4, formerly the Home Service, at lunchtime on a Sunday, to hear a gentleman from Southampton clearly enunciate, not once but twice 'Rupert Lowe is a w@nker. Rupert Lowe is a vvanker'

To be accurate, he didn't actually say 'Rupert Lowe is a wªnker. Rupert Lowe is a wÃnker' twice, i.e. four times overall, he just said 'Rupert Lowe is a wȁnker.' twice.

Given the fact that Rupert Lowe is a wȺnker, ought it be necessary in this day and age for me to have to contrive complex ways to express the fact that Rupert Lowe is a wɑnker, without using my default UK keyboard to spell out the fact that Rupert Lowe is a w-a-n-k-e-r?

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Statistically speaking you are probably right, Rupert Lowe is a wànker. Most men are wãnkers. Never trust anyone who isn't. But he's also a cûnt

Don't boil a kettle on a boat.
