On the 2nd December you started a thread on McKenna titled ‘Time for him to go I think’. You were ably supported by a selection of fellow nappyfillers. You got your wish and to be fair to you, who is to say you are and the dismals weren’t a factor in KM walking away? Be proud.
Now we have have your opening post on last night. No, England are not the best team by any means and will probably lose in Mexico, not helped in that they’ve no time to acclimatise. It is what it is and who knows?
To describe them as ‘absolute chokers’ before they dug themselves out like that is both premature, inaccurate and carries the usual stench of seeing negatives in everything as shown by just about every post of yours.
I hope in day to day life you are not that miserable and appreciate the good fortune you have in life compared to many in the here and now and the past.

I think you might be being kind to yourself there.
Happy clapping Mark Ashtons failings FAR more likely to be linked to McKenna leaving than some bed wetting in here.
I mean if our £5 million legend really did leave because someone in here didn’t like him, he’ll never work again, anywhere, at any level.
Suspect your inability to hold Ashton to account on really poor recruitment and professional integrity REALLY did make a difference.
Keep clapping - GON and Wes Burns to the rescue, bet Brentford and Bournemouth, Sunderland and Leeds will be desperate to copy our model.
What’s our model again?
Blind panic, and transfer inertia .., no sorry, it’s buy young, EFL players, nope, copy Sunderland, nope, no it’s has beens with 40 years experience at this level, decent players in 1990.
Your standards were so low. That’s why we lost the gaffer - he’s partly responsible of course, but who’s keeping this 25 up??
Pep Fergie Sir Bon and Wenger could have a love child and we wouldn’t get 20 points.
Lots to do - and Ashton (heartbreakingly) isn’t the man for the job!!
But you clapped .., and you clapped.., and you mumbled something about Morecombe, parroting Ashton, because his career is more important than OUR club.
So don’t dig others out.
You like being ‘one from the bottle’ nice and safe in the herd - no risk, but no added value either.
Ashton.
That’s the reason McKenna left 100% - not anyone on here to suit your agenda to create an echo chamber of one opinion / yours.
You’re wrong about Ashton. He simply isn’t good enough and not someone we should have built our entire club around.., the penny will drop in August - it will be gross £300 million spent at the end of this window, at least, and adjusted for that I’d be shocked if we don’t end up worse than 22 points - itself one of the worst ever seasons at this level, probably the worst ever adjusted for resources.
