Is there a searchable database of old Those Were the Days fanzines online anywhere?
Or any of the other town fanzines - A load of Cobbolds?

I wrote a couple of articles back in the day and would be nice to read again.

I’ve asked before and sadly, no they’re not available. MarkTWTD doesn’t seem to do a lot, would be a great project for him 😀

I think that there are a number of editions of TWTD, ALOC and Dribble that I purchased at my parent’s house. The TWTD front page featuring Chris Kiwomya in the orange kit with the title “You know when you have been tangoed” will remain a favourite.

I had loads back in the day from all the various ones that were on sale. They must have been dumped during my various moves over the years.

I don't think some of the articles that were in them would be taken very well these days. We lived in a very different world back then.

Yeah that was good. The sargent peppers one was also good. They were quite important back in the day before we had internet or mobile phones. I wonder if there would still be a market for things like that. People like to reminisce and dream back to days that were slower.

You know you are getting old when you were at games that are in the programme as 'down memory lane' section. And really old when you remember the oldest one. Do they still do that in the programme?

I have them all. Can you remember what you wrote and what name they'd be under. I can have a look for you.

My parents found a big stack of them in a box of my old stuff a couple of months ago when they moved house, found a cartoon in one old TWTD that I sent in and got published when I was 13 in 1992.

Dragging TWTD into the gutter since 2009

Had to show my sons the old Tango adverts on YouTube to get explain that cover - definitely one of the best
