Yep, I had a better day. Played golf on a lovely course in Kent. Magnificent bacon roll (three slices of bacon), a good group. Whilst not winning, came away with golf balls and a golf shirt for nearest the pin in two. Chicken burger chips and salad and a couple of beers before home. A lovely day.
On a less flippant note my mate’s nephew, age mid 40s, went to sleep on Saturday night and never woke up. Died in the night with no warning whatsoever. Try to live each day, folks.
For the wounded of TWTD, I hope you get better soon - and do what the medical people tell you!! Head injuries especially need strict care.! |

I'd call some of us on here accident-prone clowns, but at least clowns know how to fall over. Went flying last night, landed horribly on neck & hip/low back after tripping on a lump of grass/earth at 1.30 am whilst trying to sort out water supply failure (new £500 part needed, it never rains but it pours, except that it isn't ...). |  |

Definitely not clowns. Sht happens and stuff goes wrong. We all do it. It’s part of life.
Take it care after a fall like that and give yourself plenty of time to heal. I find with the advancing years recovery takes so much longer. Grrr. |  | | |

If you rip an arm or leg off, cling film is good. A couple of turns and what comes next is sterile. Just wrap it round the stump and you’re good to hop. | | | |
