They were basically saying what a lot of fans are feeling watching this. I get that Argentina didn't let us play, that France really can't be bothered tonight, but was there really no room to utilise what we've seen on show tonight after we went 1-0 up on Wednesday, rather than just shrinking back into our penalty area and throwing defenders on?
Don't get me wrong, great that we're winning tonight and thrashing the French, but I'm actually quite annoyed by tonight in many respects. | |

Alternatively, the interviewer could have led by asking him whether he was proud of the team in that they'd put aside the crushing disappointment of Wednesday to deliver such a comprehensive performance against the team that, until 10pm on Tuesday, were tournament favourites. | |
