As I sit in the executive lounge.
Scherpen. A bit nervous with his feet which is only to be expected as he hasn’t had time to work on patters. Had a couple of Muric moments but wasn’t really tested.
Dip. Oozes class. A leader and man mountain. Just pure quality.
Núñez. Very sloppy with his passing. Grew into the second half when more space opened up. Unlucky not to score early in with an effort that hit the crossbar.
Walle Egeli. A revelation as a ten. Great such. Kept driving forwards. Looked very confident.
Florentino. Likes to win the ball. If he loses it he wins it back. Never stopped working.
Emersonn. As has been previously pointed out, very raw. But physically strong, looked a real handful and deserved his goal.
Maeda. Runs and runs. Very intelligent. Keeps the ball well.
Hoppy. Manoeuvred the queue to the bar with expertise skill. A solid professional.
No need to mention some of our longer standing players..
This report will be offset by offset by planting a tree tomorrow.
