Transfermarkt has the fee paid by PNE as €4.10m which would be the £3.5m we were hoping to get from Stoke before he failed the medical there, but clearly a mistake.
Based on this statement from the PNE chaiman (few clues), I make it approximately £1.5m:
"We were delighted to secure the signing of Alfie Devine for a record fee that was nearly three times the highest transfer fee ever paid by PNE.
We are delighted that today we have signed both Léo Leroy and Harry Clarke for combined fees that exceed £4 million. Léo’s transfer fee alone represents what would have been a record transfer fee for PNE, prior to the signing of Alfie."
Bit more info floating around about the transfer fee for Léo Leroy (puts it at £2.5m) which is how I've arrived at the £1.5m for Harry Clarke.

He said 'exceed' 4M, not that it all adds up to 4M.
It will be broadly speaking the same deal as Stoke. He had plenty of suitors and the medical stuff was overblown by Stoke. He missed 1 of 19 gamesthrough injury for Charlton at the end of last season. | | | |

Sounds fair to me. Even the rumoured Stoke fee would've had a large conditional element to it I think. Same as Hirst, he was never going for £10m straight.
£7.5m for the pair, potentially reaching over £10m is good business for us and probably around £7m of pure profit (a little bit of what we paid for Hirst offsetting, but wont be a lot). |  | | |

Even if the statement read combined fees that exceed £5m, the Leo Leroy fee would still make that considerably less than the £3.5m fee agreed with Stoke for Harry Clarke. | |

The £3.5m fee agreed with Stoke was with add-ons and my understanding of the PNE statement is that was excluding add-ons.
So likely a very similar fee, different reporting. | | | |
