Not in Ipswich, but John Bull Motors Stowmarket. Been going for many years. John Bull was the original owner until he decided to retire and sell the business to Mark who was one of his mechanics. Only problem is they are always busy so you need to book weeks in advance although if you have a major problem they will try to fit you in.
I have used them as long as I remember and not once have I had to question any work that needed to be done.
I did have one problem after an MOT and a service where the mechanic hadn't tightened the oil filter properly and I lost oil. I was able to get home and phoned him. He picked the car up. Put right the problem and delivered it back to me.
Probably the only time in 30 plus years of using them.
I remember Mark telling me that one year another garage in Town were offering half price MOT's. The next year all those that moved over returned as of course something was found wrong with their cars. John Bull will never make money out of you by finding things that aren't there. Of course they do their jobs properly and if a genuine fault is found then it's pointed out to you. |  | | |
