I've been more than impressed with our recruitment so far, think we have bought wisely, bought with logic and added some real physicality to our squad.
I'm actually quite confident we can keep teams at bay and make ourselves hard to beat with our backline and CDM's, the Keeper will also be key and whilst he has the size, obviously the jury's still out long term, however, I'm sure he'll be an asset.
Where my concerns lay currently is the striker department, Ensciso will get goals, I'm sure Fatawu will contribute, but he will bring more assists and create, rather than get goals himself, and Maeda will be a pest.
But, for me, the difference between finishing 17th to 18th will be a striker, and this has been our Achilles heel for a number of windows now, get that right and we can be a real problem for this league, get it wrong and it could be the difference between staying up and going down, you only have to look at Calvert-Lewin and Brobbey to see what a difference a prolific striker can do.
Let's hope Ashton has a diamond up his sleeve, then we will have lift off. |  |

I have the impression that Emersonn is going to be very effective at creating space, chaos and opportunity for the other forwards, particularly Sindre, Enciso and Maeda to take advantage of. I think goals will be well spread across our front 4, rather than relying on a traditional centre forward.
This has been and is often the case anyway, but the energy our whole attacking department seems to have adds to this I think. |  |
