Long announced in the crosshairs of several Ligue 1 teams, Algerian international Anis Hadj-Moussa could rather head towards the Premier League, where the promoted Ipswich Town is notably ready to break his piggy bank at the end of the transfer window according to our information.

The future of Anis Hadj-Moussa (24) could well be written in England. Newcastle has looked into his case in recent days. And, according to information from Top Mercato, Ipswich Town has recently been invited to the file.

To attract the Algerian international (18 selections, 2 goals) into their nets, the ambitious Premier League promoted would be willing to invest a budget of 30 million euros in terms of transfer compensation. However, it remains to be seen whether an offer at this height would be sufficient, Feyenoord having refused at the beginning of the summer an offer of €30 million from Al-Ahli for its globalist winger, claiming the sum of €37 million, according to Foot Mercato.

Seen the guy play for Feyenoord a few times, undoubtedly got talent, a little " mercurial " at times, like so many players of his type. Now a double swoop for him and his fellow Feyenoord striker Ueda would be very and intriguingly tasty!

We probably wouldn't want to see Mehmeti, Mcateer or Ogbene anywhere near the starting XI but that's due to previous poor recruitment and as it stands they are Ipswich players.
Other positions where we are more in need as you rightly say CM and ST houldn't have to keep suffering and being overlooked

In any case we've already bought in Maeda and Fatawu who look set to be starters with Philogene and Clarke hopefully pushing them.

It would be pure stupidity to spend tens of millions on yet another winger. Just throw the money at Palacios and Embolo instead please, get those 2 in and I think we've a good chance of stopping up.

Agree with that.

The Athletics net spend thing over the last few years does put us right up there and some of the deals have been poor for the fees. A few of the 8 figure ones you wouldn't want to be particularly involved in the PL, which probably is not a great model, although as we have seen, Championship fees are on the rise, big time and getting us up and improving the squad depth is important from where we were 2 years ago.

Sunderland actually made Europe with under 110M Net, which is very impressive. I do hope we can get 20M sale in for Clarke at this point. I don't think we need all three of them on the left and don't see Jaden or Clarke as being able to play anywhere else at the level across the front.

We need a much higher hit rate this summer, which surely, we will get.

At a guess, I don't see any other deals officially bring announced until the middle of next week then maybe some deadline day action but surely the marque CM and Striker are in the building before Old Trafford.

We’ll need Jaden or a top replacement if he were to go. I like the Maeda signing, especially for his press and the style I think GON will want to play.

Got a feeling people might be putting a little too much stock in him for the PL as a nailed on difference maker though, will be interesting to see how he does. Happy with the signing for sure! Need players that can run all day.

Would expect Philogene to still have considerable minutes and probably have runs in the team as a starter (game dependent). Very different players, either could be a pain in the ass from the bench for different reasons.

Yeah - Incredible that some still thought Ogbene might be in the plans, same as the threads about Harry Clarke and Humphreys this summer.

Still an awful lot left to do in the market, we need at least 3 in the door in CD CM and 9, and if one of Billy or Jack go we will need someone else there too. To say nothing of the half dozen or so we need to move on. Gonna be a busy couple weeks but I’m getting more and more excited about how this is all gonna shake out. As I said the other day this will either be a brilliant season or a catastrophic failure.

	In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
